What types of nail treatments do you offer at Brow Bar?

We offer builder gel only here at Brow Bar. We apply builder gel to the natural nails for a non-chip overlay. It’s much stronger than regular gel polish base coats. You can choose from a plain nude base on its own or add colour/ nail design over the top.

Do you use acrylic or gel nail products for your nail treatments?

We only do overlays with builder gel and don’t offer any other form of nails or nail extensions at Brow Bar.

How long do nail treatments typically take at Brow Bar?

Between 45min and 1.15hr depending on if you have builder gel plain or a range of hand-painted nail art designs, which take more time.

What types of eyebrow treatments do you offer at Brow Bar?

Wax and tint – clean, tidy and tint of the brows.
HD brows – is a bespoke eyebrow treatment that is totally tailored to you – not a brow stencil in sight. It’s so much more than a standard eyebrow tint and wax; our expertly trained stylists combine our unique design formula with custom-blended colour, hair removal and makeup application for brows that suit you. Our stylists work with you to create your perfect look, whether your wish to tame bushy or regrow overplucked brows.
Brow lamination – will help give you a uniform, full eyebrow shape. This is the ultimate solution for eyebrows that do not have symmetry where the hairs follow a different pattern, with lamination we can realign the brows in such a way to give them the desired shape you want and a fuller look. This treatment solves the messy brow issue, creates volume and fullness, while giving you a sleek well-kept brow shape for up to 2 months.

Can you explain the difference between eyebrow wax and tint and HD brows?

HD Brows is a bespoke eyebrow treatment that is totally tailored to you. It’s a bit more than a standard eyebrow tint and wax; our expertly trained stylists combine HD’s unique design formula with custom-blended colour, hair removal and make up application for brows that suit you. HD brows here include a waxing, tinting, plucking and threading as well as measuring and mapping your brows with a unique technique where we see where the bulb, arch and tail should be, creating the perfect shape for your face. While a wax and tint is a basic wax/ shape with a tint but can still create a beautiful looking brow.

What is your Cancelation Policy?

We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, and we strive to accommodate our clients’ needs. However, if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we kindly request that you notify us at least 24 hours in advance. Failure to do so will result in your card on file being charged for the full outstanding amount. To cancel or reschedule, you can easily do so online or by calling the salon up to 24 hours prior to your scheduled visit with no extra charge. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in respecting our cancellation policy.

What types of lash extensions do you offer at Brow Bar and whats the difference in lash styles ?

We offer 6 different lash styles here at Brow bar.
The most natural lashes we offer are the CLASSIC LASHES. They are 1-1 application and give a subtle yet stunning result. These lashes are for the clients who don’t want anything too dramatic.

We also offer ANGEL LASHES, our newest style, they are also a natural-looking lash style. Applied like a classic but using a different technique with a different lash creating a more luxurious and ‘soft to the touch’/ fluffy feel.

We offer HYBRID LASHES, most probably the most popular style. Hybrid lashes are a mixture of classic and Russian lashes. These can be tailored to you, the more classic the more natural, the more Russian the more dramatic. Hybrids give a textured look and are our ‘happy medium’ lash style.

We also offer RUSSIAN LASHES which are applied in fans creating a more dramatic look. We carefully hand-make each fan individually which create a fluffy and full result.

We also offer MEGA VOLUME LASHES which are also Russian lashes but by adding more lashes into the handmade fan, create an even fuller result. This treatment we also add an extra 15 minutes of lashing meaning we can get them even fuller.
Lastly, we offer our BRAVE LASHES. Brave lashes are Russian lashes also, but with tailored spikes running throughout the set creating a wispy look.

How long do lash extensions typically last?

Lash extensions tend to last 2-3 weeks before needing an infill. Lash extensions come out with your natural lash-shedding cycle. We apply around 150-200 extensions per set and naturally we shed 3-5 natural lashes per day per eye, meaning after 2 weeks we would’ve lost around 140 lashes which will need refilling!

Can lash extensions damage natural lashes?

Lash extensions (if applied properly by a trained professional) will not damage your natural lashes. The extensions are individually applied and come out naturally with your natural lash shedding cycle. Here at Brow Bar we are professionally trained through our sister companies training academy Brave Lash, where we learnt what correct lengths and styles to use to suit each individual client.

Do i need to come in for a patch test and do i need to book an appointment for this?

It’s essential to come in for a patch test for the following treatments;
⁃ Brow tint/ brow wax and tint/ HD brows.
⁃ Lash tint.
⁃ Lash lift and tint.
⁃ Brow lamination.

Don’t worry though, you don’t need to book an appointment for the patch test, you can just walk in as it only takes a couple of minutes.

With lash extensions, it’s not necessary to have a patch test as the extensions don’t touch your skin and shouldn’t touch your skin, meaning we can’t patch test by putting the glue on your skin as you would with a tint for example. The way to patch test is by putting minimal extensions on the outer corner of your lashes as we would do if we were doing a full set, however this isn’t normally enough to trigger an allergic reaction. It is rare for allergic reactions to occur but receiving the treatment is to your own risk. If you are wanting a patch test, pop us a call as we need to book this in.

It is essential to book an appointment here at Brow Bar, we can sometimes offer walk in appointments if a cancellation occurs but we are a very busy salon and usually booked up, so we recommend booking an appointment.

How long do eyebrow treatments typically take at Brow Bar?

We offer 6 different brow treatments here at Brow Bar, the timings are as follows;

⁃ Brow wax- 15 minutes.
⁃ Brow tint- 15 minutes.
⁃ Brow wax and tint- 30 minutes.
⁃ HD brows- 30 minutes
⁃ HD brows with lightening- 30 minutes.
⁃ Brow lamination- 45 minutes.
